Terms of Use
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms explain the scope and limitations of the information and tools provided on HandyMetric. Questions can be sent to foot.decrypte1@gmail.com.
General information and planning tools
HandyMetric provides calculators and explanations for general informational use. They are not individualized legal, tax, financial, or payroll advice. You are responsible for checking your inputs and verifying results before using them for payroll or other important decisions.
Time Card Calculator limitations
The calculator supports one continuous shift per day, shorter than 24 hours. An end time earlier than the start time is treated as occurring the next day. Identical start and end times count as zero hours. It uses clock times without dates or time zones and does not adjust for daylight saving changes.
Only the unpaid break minutes you enter are deducted. The tool does not determine whether a break can legally be unpaid, apply punch-rounding policies, calculate wages, or allocate an overnight shift between workweeks. The optional split at 40 hours does not establish overtime eligibility or pay obligations.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to provide useful tools and clear explanations, but mistakes, interruptions, and outdated information can occur.
